Baptism Festival Protestant Church District Kleve

On June 29, at 2:30 pm, the 1st regional Protestant baptism festival in the church district will celebrate its premiere: Pastor Karin Dembek (Kevelaer), Pastor Yvonne Brück (Issum) and Vicar Cristina Kielich (Issum) will welcome an as yet unknown number of baptized children with their parents and relatives at the outdoor pool on Dondertstraße. There is no dress code, everyone comes as they please. Whether in a suit or a bathing suit, or one after the other.
„Für die evangelische Taufe kann jeder angemeldet werden, der noch nicht getauft worden ist“, sagt Pfarrerin Dembek. Wer getauft ist, dem kann als Tauferinnerung trotzdem ein Segen gespendet werden. Willkommen sind nicht nur Täuflinge aus Kevelaer und Issum, auch aus den Nachbargemeinden können Menschen ihre Kinder oder sich selbst zur Taufe anmelden.
